Emergency Airlift Expands to Klamath Falls
North Bend-based Emergency Airlift is expanding its air ambulance operations to Klamath Falls.
The company has a fleet of seven fixed-wing aircraft, three helicopters and a long-range jet.
On Jan. 26, Emergency Airlift based a helicopter along with a ground ambulance at the Klamath Falls Airport.
“We are very excited to be here, rapid response times and transport with the best possible clinical care is my plan for this area.” said Edward Langerveld, Emergency Airlift’s CEO and director of operations, in a press release. “Our other bases are close to Klamath Falls and they will help support each other’s needs, giving us the flexibility and strength needed to respond to almost any critical situation this area may have.”
