Emergency Airlift Medical/Pilot Personnel
Medical Flight Personnel
The medical flight team includes a Registered Nurse (RN) and Paramedic that are experienced in trauma and critical care. The RN credentials include CCRN (Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse), CERN (Certified Emergency Room Nurse) and CFN (Certified Flight Nurse). In addition ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) and ITLS (International Trauma Lift Support), and IABP (Intra-aortic Balloon Pump) certificates are held. Our paramedic’s credentials include Critical Care certification (CCEMT-P) and are also fully trained in ACLS, PALS, ITLS and/or PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support). Strong patient care protocols and comprehensive physician oversight allow Emergency Airlift's flight team of nurses and paramedics to employ an impressive array of critical life-saving interventions providing a continuum of care for the critically ill patient.
Pilots
Emergency Airlift pilots are confident and skilled professionals with a heart for this industry. Being a part of saving lives is a fulfilling experience. Our pilots follow an extensive training and testing program in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Minimum standards in hiring exceed those established by regulation.
Aircraft
We operate our aircraft by the FAA’s highest standards and maintain the aircraft with the industry’s most qualified mechanics. No aircraft will leave our facility for airlift without a complete maintenance check.
