Emergency Airlift Medical/Pilot Personnel

Medical Flight Personnel

Our registered nurses are experienced in trauma and critical care.  Some of their credentials include CCRN (Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse) and CERN (Certified Emergency Room Nurse).  In addition ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) or TEAM certificates are held. Our paramedics are nationally registered and are also fully trained in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support). Strong patient care protocols and comprehensive physician oversight allow Emergency Airlift’s flight team of nurses and paramedics to employ an impressive array of critical life-saving interventions providing a continuum of care for the critically ill patient.

Pilots

Emergency Airlift pilots are required to have a minimum of five thousands hours of flight time. They are ATP-rated and meet the highest ratings issued by the FAA. Twice each year, our pilots follow an extensive training and testing program at Flight Safety International, one of the leading training facilities in the world.

Aircraft

We operate our aircraft by the FAA’s highest standards and maintain the aircraft with the industry’s most qualified mechanics. No aircraft will leave our facility for airlift without a complete maintenance check.
