Airlift Evacuates Hurt Woman

A Myrtle Point woman went to Bay Area Hospital Sunday after she was hurt during an ATV crash east of Sitkum.

At about 3:30 p.m., emergency crews from the Dora-Sitkum and Fairview Rural Fire Protection districts, along with Myrtle Point Ambulance, responded to a report of the accident east of Sitkum on Dead Horse Road, about one mile from the Coos Bay Wagon Road. Personnel from the Coos County Sheriff\'s office and Bureau of Land Managment also responded.
